Caribe Nation,
Learning the Caribe Swim Pull Down Stroke is a HUGE step.

This is Step 5 in the process… and it’s where a lot of new swimmers get stuck.
Because of 3 small mistakes that are easy to fix.
Here they are:
1. Lifting your head
The moment your head lifts… your body sinks.

Fix:
Keep your eyes down.
2. Not pausing at your side (too many strokes)
Stroke… stroke… stroke…
No pause = no glide.
No glide = more effort, less distance.

Fix:
Pull → pause at your side → glide → then go again.
3. Recovering with palms facing out
If your palms face out on the way back up, you’re slowing yourself down… fast.

Fix:
Keep your hands relaxed and bring them back up with your palms facing in.
These are small changes.
But they make a massive difference.
Here’s a short video showing all 3 mistakes:
Full YouTube breakdown coming in a few days — and you’ll be the first to see it.
If this helped, hit reply and let me know what stood out.
BIG Love,
Coach Jeff
